Effective June 7th, 2024: The Vinton Municipal Building lobby hours are being adjusted. Lobby hours within the Municipal Building (Administration, Finance, and Planning & Zoning) remain available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, Town of Vinton offices will remain open for business; however, citizens or businesses will need to make an appointment with the appropriate Department. Staff may be reached by phone on the main line at 540-983-0601 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by email. For a full list of contacts, citizens are encouraged to visit the Staff Directory on the Town’s Website at: www.vintonva.gov/directory.aspx.

The Treasurer’s office drive-thru window will remain available to customers Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for payments. The payment drop box in the drive-thru lane will remain accessible 24/7 and the “received date” is always posted to the previous businesses date if received after the close of business and before 9: a.m. the next day. The Treasurer’s office will be open on Fridays during tax collections in May and November.

The Vinton War Memorial, a highly coveted landmark and event venue in the heart of Virginia's Blue Ridge, sits atop a picturesque 11.5-acre park in Vinton, Virginia. 

The venue offers five rooms for events, including the Grand Dogwood Ballroom. It plays host to weddings and receptions, corporate, community, social, and outdoor events. 

The Vinton War Memorial is fully accessible per ADA standards and has convenient, on-site parking for up to 200 vehicles. The venue is a short drive from downtown Roanoke and easily accessible via the Blue Ridge Parkway.
