Functions
The Town manager's office manages day-to-day operations for the Town of Vinton. Responsibilities of the office include:
- Providing leadership and support to each of the town's departments
- Carrying out the policies of the Town Council both fairly and equitably
- Acting as the liaison between town government, citizens, community organizations, institutions, and neighboring jurisdictions (including state and federal government), and facilitating communication to help these parties work together more effectively
