The Vinton Volunteer Firefighter Fund Drive begins in August of each year. Residents and businesses in Vinton and east Roanoke County receive requests for donations in the mail around that time.
Donations from citizens and businesses help fund training for members, meet equipment needs of the department, and allow us to host two banquets annually for our volunteers. Remember - your volunteers provide their time and talents to the community for free.
We make sure 100% of your donation goes directly to the Vinton Volunteer Fire Department. Checks can be made payable to the Vinton Volunteer Fire Department, and donations are tax deductible.
Please note: The Vinton Volunteer Fire Department does not sell concert tickets through telemarketing phone calls, nor does the department receive any financial support from any firefighters association that does participate in telemarketing phone calls.
