VINTON JUDICIAL SYSTEM

The Roanoke County Court System oversees all court proceedings for the Town of Vinton. All proceedings take place at the Roanoke County Court House, located at 305 E. Main Street, Salem, VA 24153(click here for driving directions). Please refer to the chart below for contact information for each division of the court system.

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY PAYMENTS OF FINES FOR PARKING TICKETS ARE ACCEPTED BY THE VINTON TREASURER'S/FINANCE OFFICE. Payments of fines for PARKING TICKETS/VIOLATIONS ONLY may be paid at the Treasurer's/Finance Office in the Vinton Municipal Building Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for driving directions to the Vinton Municipal Building.

PAYMENTS OF FINES FOR ALL OTHER TICKETS/VIOLATIONS can ONLY be accepted by a Roanoke County Court Clerk, Monday through Friday during regular hours, at the Roanoke County Court House in Salem. If you have a question regarding a court case or the payment of a fine, please call the appropriate number listed in the chart below.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Vinton Municipal Building
located at
311 S. Pollard Street, Vinton

Directions From I-581: Take the Elm Avenue (Route 24 East) exit. Turn left onto South Pollard Street. The Municipal Building will be on your left. To reach the parking area, go past the Municipal Building and turn left onto Jackson Avenue. Parking lot will be on your left.

Directions From Route 460: Turn onto Gus Nicks Blvd. at Hardee’s. Gus Nicks will turn into Washington Avenue. Turn right at the light onto South Pollard Street. Turn right onto Jackson Avenue. Parking lot will be on your left.

Directions From I-581: From I-581 take I-81 South to the Route 311 (Thompson Memorial Drive) exit. Turn right onto Thompson Memorial Drive. Turn right onto E. Main Street (Route 11). The courthouse will be on your right.
