Any Town
of Vinton resident interested in serving on various Town
Council-appointed boards, commissions, or committees is encouraged
to complete an application
form. Candidates to fill vacancies due to expiration of terms
and resignations are selected from the applications maintained
on file. The positions that are appointed by Council
are members of the Board
of Zoning Appeals, Planning
Commission, Fair Housing Board, Highway Safety Commission
and Greenway Commission. In completing
the application, citizens will have the opportunity to select
the committee(s) of their interest. If you are a Town of Vinton
resident interested in supporting your community and volunteering
your service, please download

Manager’s Office at 311 South Pollard Street, or call
540-983-0607
to have an application mailed. The list of applicants maintained
on file will be updated each year to give applicants an opportunity
to make any changes, and so that current information will be on
